The Thomas R. Pickering Foreign Affairs Fellowship is designed to attract outstanding individuals from all ethnic, racial, and social backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing a Foreign Service career with the U.S. Department of State. It provides support (up to $42,000/year for two years) for a graduate program related to international affairs. Recipients commit to a minimum 5-year service commitment in the US Department of State's Foreign Service. Deadline is in Sept, does not require UCLA's endorsement. Eligibility: 3.2 minimum GPA, US citizen, seek admission to an eligible graduate program.
